Take Us Back to Egypt

It is no news that GEJ might be contesting in the 2023 presidential elections. While I have nothing for or against the former president, the claim that some "Nigerians" are clamouring for his return to the office that he once occupied still baffles people who know nothing like me.

First of, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the president of Nigeria and was voted out during the 2015 election, a result that most people would agree was the decision of the majority. Therefore, it is safe to say that the former president failed in his capacity during his tenure, afterall, why wouldn't anyone want him to continue if he was actually excellent.

Another disturbing or rather funny scenario is the claim that some certain group of almajiris purchased the presidential form of #100 million for the ex-president. While what anyone does with his or her money is no one's business, I still wonder how many almajiri boys that amount would have bettered their lives, especially considering we have thousands of them roaming the streets begging for food.

The third fun fact that my brain can think of at the moment is that how can an individual, in this case GEJ, who supposedly remains a member of PDP have a form in APC.

Nothing really seems to be adding up at the moment, a phenomenon that typifies the situation of the joke called Nigeria.

So I say do we really want to go back Egypt?

Meanwhile, what do I even know sef.
