Vote Your Interest not Identity

The Nigerian elections are only a few weeks away and the significance of the coming days cannot be overemphasized. It is obvious that politicians only have their own interest at heart. The question you should ask yourself as a voter is - whose interest do you have at heart when you thumbprint.

Fortunately, Nigerians have had presidents from the South and the North. I won't be basing the classification on the 6 geopolitical divisions. But check am, what good did having a president from the North do for an average Northerner. Same goes for southerners when they had their "son" in power. Let's put this into context, one of the poorest states in Nigeria unfortunately is Katsina, the state that produced the top man in the country. For my people from the South, South West specifically, your "son" constructed the Lagos-Ibadan expressway for 8 years and it remains under construction till date.

So ask yourself, do you still want to vote for your son or daughter or someone that will change your life and that of future generations.

But what do I even know sef.
