The Pest Eating the Vegetable...

There is a popular Yoruba saying "the pest eating the vegetable is under the vegetable." This is the case of NDDC gate. Imagine if the top officials were from another part of the country. Only God knows what would have happened now. 

The Tompolos and Dokubos of this world seem to be unaware of the drama and happenings in the NDDC. You can't be surprised, considering that most of these guys have literally cashed out and moved on with their lives. But whatever happened to fighting for the emancipation of the Niger Delta. 

The socalled activists and people fighting for that region have also turned deaf ears to the NDDC scandal.

Whether Akpabio and his kinsmen decide to spend #1.3 billion "taking care of themselves" or not, na the ordinary man go fight for himself cos these one will continue to share the money if no one holds them accountable.
