Where is the Love...

When Black Eyed Peas dropped their hit single over a decade ago,  no one envisaged an era when the sound of fart will literally scare the life out of people. Unfortunately,  we have somehow found ourselves in a situation where no one and no where is safe.

After 5 years of paper chasing as a professional freelance writer,  I've decided to get back to pouting out my heart via writing and I hope this lasts long.

So back to the issue of "Love" as many of us celebrate February 14. The Bible says "love your neighbor as yourself" and I'm sure there is somewhere in the Islamic teaches that preaches love without violence. As one of the most religious nations in the world with probably the highest number of churches and mosques, how come we have nothing close to love for one another.

And before you start the yen yen yen about our so-called leaders and corruption and how these have dovetailed into the current level of insecurity, take some time to check yourself and how you have loved or unloved in different capacities.

According to the Late Legendary Michael Jackson, if you want a change, take a look at the man in the mirror.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
