Las Las na we go cast ourself

I really can't keep calm right now with the state of things in the country. The confirmed cases of COVID-19 has reportedly grown to 25. I think I'm more bothered about the way Nigerians are handling this issue. State governments across the nation have banned gatherings of more than 50 people, which is commendable.  However,  as I jog round my neighborhood this morning,  I see people trooping to their so-called places of worship and I'm thinking "must we go to the church or mosque to communicate with God?"

You need no government or soothsayer to tell you to stay safe and avoid gatherings. F*** that think about God protecting us. Yes,  He will,  but we need to also take measures to curb the spread. Trust me, our dear country can't handle an outbreak of coronavirus. Stay in your house if you can and avoid gatherings with a large crowd. We don't need any government to tell us this.

In addition to the restrictions announced by the government,  organizations also need to put measures in place to protect their stakeholders. Buying sanitizers and face masks is one step. Companies need to decide means of reducing the number of people in their offices. One way would be to cut the number of employees that come to work and their could be on a shift. Instead of having 4 people in a department at the same time,  the number can be reduced to 2, after all,  the number of visitors to your offices will reduce drastically.

Please stay safe.

But what do I even know sef.
